My Story

 When I was introduced to Arbonne, my life was busy with lots of responsibilities which had become quite boring. I worked in a "cubical" at a local company as an Executive Assistant Mon-Fri from 8-5, I also supported my husband in building a personal training business by doing general office work much like my day job, and I kept the house and meals flowing. We had no down time because we had painted ourselves into a corner. Our Fitness Studio required my husband to work as much as possible in order to keep up with operating costs. We spent countless hours organizing the administrative side of the business including marketing, scheduling, staffing, creating flyers and building a website. Any time off was equated to lost income because we trade time for money, which made vacations impossible. We thought having our own business would provide flexibility, but we trade time for money and don't get paid when we don't work.

We needed a way out. We knew we wanted life to be different, but how could we make that happen when we were already putting in long hours? Then came Arbonne and the concept of time leveraging - I learned that by helping others, I help myself. As I watched the presentation when I attended my first Arbonne party I thought, "Maybe I could do this?" I knew nothing about skin care, but I could learn. I didn't have good skin, but I could turn that around! I was worried about selling to family and friends because I didn't want them to feel obligated. Instead, I share with everyone I know and meet. If they're not interested, that's ok with me!  There are lots of people with skin and lots of people who could use extra income and happiness in their life!

And so, I worked part time on my future and full time at my j-o-b. Now, our future is bright with hope that life doesn't have to be run on a hampster wheel!  Dreams can come true for us too!

Our first dream came true when our baby boy arrived healthy and happy to the world on August 17, 2007.  Now we are even more driven than before! We want to offer him every advantage in life and have the time to spend with him.  Fortunately my growing Arbonne business has made it possible for me to stay home with our baby and not be concerned about daycare.

Now my life has meaning and excitement as I enjoy the leadership role of helping others to build their own business and dreams for their future. Inspired by my parents who did so much for their community and profoundly, yet quietly, helped so many, I find myself looking to create a similar imprint on this world. I want to thrive as I find joy in living fully and help others to do the same.
